One of our good friends, Art by Ana, has been working art shows and pop-ups showcasing her paintings. I went to see one of her pop-up booths and I think Drew will enjoy them. Now I just need to figure out what and how to pull all of this together.
I mentioned doing one of these booths to Drew and he could barely contain his excitement when he repeated the idea to me. I wish I could capture him trying to speak when he gets so excited. One of these days I will. It’s really cute. Now I know that I need to do it.
The good news is that I decided to take a break from school so I can regroup the next 8 weeks. I think it will give me more time to focus on these things for Drew and the fact that we have company coming AND I took a new role at the office, I just think it’s a smart thing to do. What this really means is that I will have more time to get Drew’s website up AND time to prep for the pop-ups. I have to say I’m pretty excited about it too. I think he’s just going to love having people to talk to about his art!
I did receive a couple of samples of coasters with Drew’s art on them and they are just adorable! I am not sure whether to display them as coasters or as art but I will for sure have these sitting out.
